1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, signing in, or using SassyGit (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Refund Policy, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use SassyGit.

2. What SassyGit Does

SassyGit is a SaaS product by ShaStack. We provide GitHub repository synchronization, organization management features, and related premium capabilities billed through Razorpay. The Service is offered on a free tier with optional paid subscriptions. Features available on each tier may change over time.

3. Your Account and GitHub Authorization

• You are responsible for keeping your GitHub credentials secure. We never see or store your GitHub password.
• SassyGit accesses GitHub on your behalf using the OAuth permissions you grant. You can revoke access at any time in your GitHub settings.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, including any sub-users you invite to your organization.
• Notify us immediately at support@sassygit.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use SassyGit to:

• Store, sync, or distribute illegal content, malware, or material that infringes third-party rights
• Send spam or unsolicited communications
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from our Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from SassyGit
• Abuse GitHub APIs through SassyGit in ways that violate GitHub's own terms
• Bypass, disable, or circumvent paywalls, rate limits, or access controls
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Generate excessive load that degrades Service performance for others

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without refund for violations of this section.

5. GitHub Dependency

SassyGit is built on top of GitHub's APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and platform features. We do not control GitHub. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SassyGit and ShaStack are not liable for:

• GitHub modifying, deprecating, or removing any feature, endpoint, or capability that SassyGit relies on
• GitHub outages, downtime, latency, or any degradation of GitHub's service
• GitHub rate limit changes or quota reductions that affect synchronization speed, frequency, or reliability
• GitHub pricing changes that affect costs we pass through to paid customers
• Any loss of functionality, data, or revenue arising from the above

We will make reasonable effort to adapt the Service to GitHub changes and to notify affected users via email when material disruption is foreseeable.

6. Payment, Refunds, and Modifications

• Paid subscriptions are billed through Razorpay in US Dollars (USD) or Indian Rupees (INR). The currency is determined by your location at the time you subscribe and is locked to your subscription once activated. To switch currency you must cancel and resubscribe. Any applicable taxes (such as Indian GST on INR plans) are handled by Razorpay per the plan configuration and shown on the tax invoice they issue.
• Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.
• We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email to your account email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
• We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We will give 30 days notice for material removals where reasonable.

7. Termination and Limitation of Liability

Termination by us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without refund for violation of these Terms (including Section 4). For any other reason (including discontinuation of the Service or our business), we will give 30 days written notice and a prorated refund of any pre-paid amounts for the unused portion of your subscription.

Termination by you: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

Limitation of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, SassyGit and ShaStack are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid SassyGit in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This cap applies whether the claim is based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

No warranty: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Disputes and Governing Law

If you have a dispute, complaint, or claim, please first email support@sassygit.com. We will engage in good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days from the date of your written notice to resolve the matter.

If the dispute remains unresolved after 30 days, the courts of New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
